contact you with a welcome pack containing full
details of your service.
Can I see the proposed
design before the website goes online?
Yes. We always show the first page of the design
on a test site. When you are happy with this we
will go ahead and get the rest of the website
built.
How long does it take
to get a website online?
This varies depending on the size of the project.
As an approximate guide a 4 page website could
be online within 1 week whereas a 10 page website
might take 2 weeks.
How can I manage a website
when I am busy running my business?

This is where we configure and maintain the server

What is my Domain Name?
Also known as your web address or URL, your Domain
Name is how people find you on the web. This gives

as you can also receive emails on this name. Each

for you - all you need to do is choose your name.

What does transferring

If you already have a Domain Name you can nominate
who provides the technical administrative and
billing functions for you. By transferring your
Domain Name to Media3i we act as your technical
administrative and billing contact for renewals.
What is the difference
between 'Search Engines' and 'Directories'?
The difference is that Search Engines create their
listings automatically by using 'robots' or 'spiders'
to find new web pages. On the other hand, Directories,
only lists websites that are manually submitted
by humans.
Does this mean that I
don't need to register my website with Search
Engines?
Not necessarily. There is no guarantee that your
website will be automatically found and listed
by Search Engines. Most Search Engines and Directories
offer "pay-to-be-listed" services that
improve the chances of inclusion in their listing.
Do you register sites
with Search Engines and Directories?
Yes we can. When your site is online we can register
your site with popular Search Engines and Directories.
We will work with you to determine the most relevant
Search Engines and Directory categories so your
target market can find you.
Do you make promises
regarding Search Engine rankings?
No we cannot. All the major Search Engines and
Directories are independent companies. They cannot
be influenced by independent web developers, even
the ones that offer "pay-to-be-listed"
services. We apply optimisation to web pages to
improving the odds of high ranking under major
